Alpine Alpenglow to run on hydrogen for the first time at Spa
- Alpine will reveal Alpenglow’s very first dynamic version on 10 May 2024 ahead of the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps endurance race (FIA WEC).
- After its concept car at the Paris Motor Show (France) in late 2022, Alpenglow, in its hydrogen-powered running version, is due to take to the track for three laps on 11 May at the Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium).
- Powered by a hydrogen-powered internal combustion engine, Alpenglow embodies the brand's design and sustainable innovation ambitions for ultra-sporty road and track cars.

On 10 May 2024, Alpine will present the first dynamic version of Alpenglow at the Spa-Francorchamps 6 Hours meeting. The Alpenglow concept car was revealed at the end of 2022 at the Paris Motor Show. Today, Alpine is preparing to reveal a running version with a hydrogen-powered internal combustion engine and an all-new design, both static on May 10 and dynamic on May 11.
Alpenglow embodies the future of Alpine design in motorsport, as well as for future series production models. It is also the brand's laboratory for future sustainable mobility technologies with a hydrogen-powered internal combustion engine that will enhance driving pleasure tenfold. It's a path of exploration for the brand. An avenue of exploration for the Alpine brand.
Founded in 1955 by Jean Rédélé, Alpine has established itself over the years with its French-style sports cars. The brand first delivered the new A110 in 2018, faithful to Alpine's timeless principles of compactness, lightness, agility and driving pleasure. The Alpine Business Unit was created in 2021, building on the heritage and know-how of its historic Dieppe factory, as well as the engineering expertise of the Alpine Racing and Alpine Cars teams. Within Renault Group, it is the dedicated brand to innovative, authentic, and exclusive sports cars. This expertise enables the brand to compete in the two major FIA championships: Formula 1 and the World Endurance Championship. Alpine is also present in other mechanical disciplines through customer competition in Rally, Cup and GT4. 2024 marks a turning point in Alpine's ambitions, as it inaugurates its 100 % electric "Dream Garage" with the launch of its first electric urban sports car, the A290.
