Capucine Lorenzi joins Alpine as VP Procurement

  • Capucine Lorenzi will join Renault Group as head of procurements for the Alpine brand on 26 February 2024.
  • She will join the Alpine Management Committee and report directly to Philippe Krief, Alpine CEO.
  • She reports operationally to François Provost, Renault Group Chief Procurement, Partnerships & Public Affairs Officer. She is a member of the Renault Group Procurement Management Committee.
  • In joining Alpine, Capucine Lorenzi will bring 20 years of experience in purchasing, including 16 years at Ferrari, with expertise in premium sourcing strategy.

"We are delighted to welcome Capucine Lorenzi as Purchasing Director to the Alpine team, with whom I have had the opportunity to work in the past. Her wealth of experience will help us strengthen our purchasing processes, in the context of a low-volume premium brand, to ensure the brand's successful transition to electric vehicles by 2030. The challenge is to be more agile in our procurement policy, which is central to developing our range," explains Philippe Krief, Alpine CEO.

In 2002, Capucine Lorenzi graduated with a Master's degree from IAE Lyon and began her career as an Electronic Goods Buyer with the Valeo Group. Capucine Lorenzi joined Ferrari in 2006 as a Senior Buyer before becoming Engine Quality Manager in 2013. In 2017, she became Direct Purchasing Manager and then Director of Vehicle Materials. In 2022, Capucine Lorenzi joined GNV (Grandi Navi Veloci) as Chief Procurement Officer, in charge of procurement policy.

After 20 years of professional experience, 46-year-old Capucine Lorenzi will join Alpine as VP Procurement on 26 February 2024.
